High-Tech Trash

People in Ghana especially kids burn down wires and things from old computers or TVs. They don’t see that all the copper and other elements being burned produce toxics that can affect their lungs or kidneys. In other parts of the world, they take the copper out to sell it and make money. The faster, the better. This means that their health doesn’t matter. According to Israel Mensah “The gas goes to your nose and you feel something in your head”. There are no safety procedures while doing this. It is easier for ripping out gold, silver and other things from “junk computers” than from the earth. Many people see their PCs being junk and they just throw it away illegally.
As I keep reading I feel that people don’t care enough for the environment. Just to stay the same with technology creates so much harm around the world. Children get very sick just for money and reusable things get thrown away because it is considered “junk”.

I go to a library to check out a book. They don't have it. I think of how will I do my work. I mean I need that book! I wished I could find it on the web....
I think putting books on google or any other website is awesome because it can help you with your work and the ride to the local library. You can even download them if you want to buy a digitale copy instead of having the book. It is incredible to see how technology advances and makes it easier for us to do the regular things in life. I love trees and I honestly hate the fact of wasting paper for a book that is not even worth writing. If you like the book, you just downloaded on the internet and you're good to go. Digitalizing books is a great idea to put on google.

Hi! My name is Tizania but everyone calls me tizzy. I was born in Mexico but i came here when I was 3. My favorite color is hot pink and i love rock music; either in spanish or english. I love spring break because of the SXSW festival and i attend mostly everyday the shows if I like the bands. I attend Connally High School and soon I will gratuate and if accepted I will go to Texas State. Honestly i would prefer to go to ACC and transfer to U.T to major in communications and become a radio host or try my best to bring rock bands from Mexico or other Latin countries to Austin in my show [radio or TV show]. 100 word reflection on the reading

First of all I want to thank him because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be doing this for a grade. He had many crazy ideas and he would imagine the impossible. One of his amazing ideas was if he could store all the information on all the computer and it wouldn't be hard to linked them. So he created a system to give every "page" on a computer a standard address (now it is called URL), HTTP, HTML, and visible with the first browser. So that made everyone get linked. As I continued to read the book, many scientist had the idea and they were the ones that came up with alot of stuff as well. What Tim had to do was to put the puzzle together and make it "fit in". The Internet is an important part to my everyday life. I have to check things and keep in touch with my friends and family. I as well use it for school and to apply to college. I once again what to thank him for putting the puzzle together.
